Mikayla Espinosa joined Gelber Schachter & Greenberg, P.A. after serving as a law clerk to Judge Joseph F. Bianco on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Mikayla received her law degree from New York University School of Law, where she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the New York University Law Review, an AnBryce Scholar, and a teaching and research assistant. She received the Vanderbilt Medal and the President’s Service Award for her contributions to the Law School. After graduating, Mikayla worked at a leading law firm in New York as a litigation associate, focusing on government investigations and complex commercial litigation.
Mikayla received her Bachelor of Arts in English, summa cum laude, from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. At Saint Rose, Mikayla received the Departmental Award in English, the Senior Writing Award, and the Barbara Smith Award for Outstanding Women’s and Gender Studies Portfolio. While in college, Mikayla also worked at the New York State Assembly. Mikayla is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, and her application for admission in Florida is pending.
Born and raised in Upstate New York, Mikayla lives in Brickell with her husband.
