Amanda Gonzalez joined Gelber Schachter & Greenberg, P.A. following her graduation, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. In law school, Amanda served as the Senior Writing Editor on the University of Miami Law Review and as a member of the Charles C. Papy Moot Court Board. The law school honored her with the Marco A. Vazquez Memorial Scholarship Award based on her excellence in the litigation skills program. Amanda graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Miami.
Prior to joining the firm, Amanda served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jose E. Martinez at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida where she prepared memoranda and conducted legal research on civil and criminal matters. Amanda also worked as a law clerk at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida in the International Narcotics division.
Amanda will begin a judicial clerkship with Judge Martinez in the Fall of 2026.
Amanda, who is fluent in Spanish, is a born-and-raised Miamian. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and cheering on the Miami Hurricanes.
